Read Text In Microsoft Word For Mac

How do I get the computer to read selected text aloud? I know about Narrator, and she's simply looking around too hard for things to do. She won't read just one thing, but instead tells me all about windows I've opened, menus I've clicked on, etc. What I'd really like is to be able to select one or more paragraphs of text and have the computer voice read it aloud, ideally invoked with a right-click of the mouse button and choosing 'Read Aloud' or similar.
